As a DON, everything falls back on you, the good, the bad and the ugly. If your program or facility is running great, kudos to you, but if not then you will face challenges. If you enjoy directing, overseeing, delegating and ensuring things are running smoothly and frequent meetings with your healthcare care team then it’s absolutely a place you wanna be.
